Two people escaped a burning recreational vehicle late Tuesday night in Genesee County. The fire broke out inside an RV on Creek Road in the town of Pavilion around 11 p.m. Two people inside the RV got out safely.

A pursuit involving a suspected stolen recreational vehicle Wednesday morning ended with the driver fleeing into the American River. Authorities said the pursuit began in Citrus Heights when officers tried to stop a Winnebago with license plates that had been reported lost or stolen.

It looks like there will be two RV shows just weeks apart at Bartle Hall this year. In Jackson County Circuit Court on Monday, Judge Edith L. Messina denied an injunction request by a competing group that sought to bar Pat Riha Productions from staging its show March 1-4.
